A glamorous night at Bath Young Professionals Ball 2017

The Bath Young Professionals (BYP) Committee organised a thoroughly enjoyable and successful Summer Ball at the beautiful Roman Baths on 1st June 2017.  Over 150 young professionals attended from local businesses from Bath & Bristol in one of Bath's finest venues.

The BYP Committee (made up of employees from local Bath firms: Monahans, Barclays, Thrings, Royds Withy King, Carter Jonas, Marshfield Bakery and Milsted Langdon) organised the fun-filled event as part of their ongoing commitment to enable young business professionals to expand their business development and networking in an entertaining fashion.

The event at the Roman Baths boasted good food, music and entertainment, and enabled attendees to enjoy summer drinks in the Main Baths - a popular historic attraction dating back to the Roman period.  Here, attendees were able to purchase Raffle tickets in which all the proceeds were donated to BYP's chosen charity for the year: Bath Mind.  The event raised £1,266 for this charity!

As one of the organisers of the raffle, Monahans kindly donated a Spa package at the Bath Thermae Spa worth £88.  Other prizes from the other organisers included Spa packages, vouchers at local fine cuisine restaurants, hampers, etc.

The event was warmly received and many are looking forward to the next event!

BYP Committe members from Monahans involved in the organisation of the Ball included Sam Wood and Craig Chapman from our Bath office.

Monahans staff who attended the Ball included:
- Sam Wood (Bath)
- Craig Chapman (Bath)
- Tom Snelson (Bath)
- Ashleigh Ward (Trowbridge)
- Nicola Crick (Trowbridge)
- Michael Donaldson (Taunton)
