A brief introduction
Heading up Monahans HR support service no two days are exactly the same.
I can spend my time on the telephone providing HR advice on day to day issues as they arise, designing employment documentation, be onsite with a line manager supporting them to deal with a variety of HR activities or be spending time on HR consultancy projects ranging from reward management to supporting the redesign of an organisation undergoing change.
My initial background is in retail management, but finding that I enjoyed operating across an organisation supporting them to get the best from their people I developed a generalist career in human resources. I’ve worked across a number of different sectors, including charities, SME's, large international companies and the NHS, establishing HR strategies and teams to meet business requirements whilst operating within the prevailing employment legislation.
