A brief introduction
I advise a wide range of businesses, as well as many regulated clients such as academies, charities and pension schemes. As well as advising in connection with compliance matters such as audit, accounts and taxation, I can offer practical advice to your organisation in both good and more difficult times.
As well as handling the demands of a diverse client portfolio, I have for a number of years been responsible for the firm’s own IT systems. The requirements of this role are ever increasing, as the systems needed for the business become increasingly complex and the demands of users grow. I also sit on the main committee of the IT Faculty at the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Outside of work I enjoy sports such as Formula One and football, and am a great fan of live music having seen an eclectic range of artists at venues both large and small.
After training with MHA Monahans, I qualified in the 1980’s and was appointed a partner in 1990. I was also one of the first to obtain the Institute’s Diploma in Charity Accounting.
