Forensic Senior/Partners Assistant
Based in Bath
We are looking for an individual to join the Forensic Team providing support to the Partner to ensure that assignments are completed satisfactorily.
You will be involved in supporting projects that deal with matters addressing accountancy issues within the context of litigation, financial investigation and business/personal financial disputes in general.
Your work will involve analysing financial data, note taking, preparing calculations, undertaking research and other ad-hoc forensic orientated projects as required. In addition, you will be responsible for a range of work and tasks in support of the forensic partner. Full support and supervision will be given.
You will need to be at least AAT qualified, or have equivalent experience; for example you may come from a background in tax and be looking for a new challenge. In the alternative you will be ACA qualified, or equivalent.
You will have good communication skills, an analytical mind as well as good written/verbal skills, an eye for detail and the ability to deal with queries in a professional manner. You will need good basic IT skills (particularly Word and Excel) but additional training in IT will be made available, as will ‘background’ training appropriate forensic work.
Be aware, that Forensic work is variable in nature, deadline driven and precise. All of those attributes make the work interesting and rewarding. You will not be expected to take the lead on forensic cases – but the opportunity will be made available, over time, for your involvement cases to develop.
