Tony is our most experienced tax partner having been with Monahans for over 30 years. He deals with a wide variety of business and private clients and is widely regarded as one of the region's leading specialists in Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax Planning. His work frequently involves trusts and he is a member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Tony advises many clients on estate planning in order to help them reduce possible Inheritance Tax liabilities and to structure gifts and wills in the most tax efficient way.

Dominic relocated from London in January 2008 to join Monahans. Previously with BDO Stoy Hayward, he has gained a wealth of knowledge in the areas of Corporation Tax, business restructuring, mergers and demergers and pre-sale planning both in the UK and internationally. He will provide advice on these topics to business clients across all of Monahans five offices in Bath, Chippenham, Glastonbury, Swindon and Trowbridge.

Geoff Don
Geoff is our Senior Tax Manager and joined Monahans in the early part of 2006.
Geoff has nearly twenty years experience in the tax profession and principally has been responsible for advising owner-managed businesses and private individuals on general and corporate tax issues. He also has considerable experience in advising property trading and investment clients of all sizes.

Kate Crawford joined Monahans in 2004 following the merger with Giffard Taylor & Co. A tax partner for 14 years, Kate specialises in private client matters including Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and Trusts.
She is a Chartered Tax Adviser and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Mike Shawyer FCA
Mike trained with Monahans and became a partner in 1985. As well as being Managing Partner of Monahans, he is heavily involved in VAT planning and compliance work for a wide range of commercial clients.
Mike also works in partnership with retained consultants from "The VAT Consultancy" to provide a comprehensive VAT advice service.
