Bath Office

A combination of Roman baths and sweeping Georgian architecture ensure that Bath has become one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. The ancient Celts, who first inhabited this site on the River Avon, believed that Bath’s hot springs were sacred. The Romans developed the area, building temples and the famous baths which can still be visited.

In the eighteenth century Bath became England’s premier spa town, where the rich and famous gathered to ‘take the waters’ and enjoy its theatres and concert rooms. The architect, John Wood, was responsible for many of Bath’s famous buildings and terraces built using the honey-coloured stone that gives Bath its mellow and indefinable quality.

Our most recent office is based in the centre of Bath in a Grade 1 listed Georgian building. Martin Longmore heads up the general accountancy activities from this office and it is also the base for our Corporate Finance and Forensic Accounting teams.

Monahans, in association with Thring Townsend Lee & Pembertons sponsor Bath Young Professionals, a networking group for young business people, or those new to business in Bath.

Meeting on the first Thursday of every month, the events generally take place in various bars in Bath with occasional other events such as quizzes, rounders matches and Christmas Parties thrown in for good measure.

This is your opportunity to enjoy a fun evening, in a relaxed environment whilst making new friends and business contacts.  For more information please visit www.bathyoungprofessionals.com.
