Barclays Defined Returns Plan
Barclays Defined Returns Plan has been designed for investors who may want potentially higher gains than are available in deposit acounts but who also want to be assured that at least the capital that they invested will be repaid at the end of the term.
The Plan offers a simple choice of investment terms from three, four or five years. With each option, investors will receive a return if the Final FTSE 100 Index Level is at least equal to the Initial Index Level at the end of the term.
The investment objective of this plan is to receive your capital back at the end of the term of the plan, plus a return that is equal to:
- 20% (Three-year option) OR
- 30% (Four-year option) OR
- 40% (Five-year option) of the initial investment provided that the Final FTSE 100 Index Level is no lower than the Initial Index Level at the respective Maturity Date.
