Stephanie Hurst

I am the corporate tax consultancy and personal tax compliance director at Monahans, based in our Swindon office.

Part of my job is to focus on providing specialist corporate advice to our clients to help them to minimise their tax exposure. I am particularly interested in industry specific tax reliefs, such as Research & Development and Museums & Galleries tax relief. These incentives can be hugely beneficial to our clients, particularly in the early stages of their business.

I also oversee our tax compliance function and provide support to our team as required.

As a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, I have been able to build up a wealth of experience in both private client and corporate taxes, over the last 15 years in practice. Over the years I have acquired extensive knowledge in a range of areas of taxation, which enables me to provide a broader outlook on the impacts of any tax planning.

My background

I joined Monahans in 2014, after beginning my career at another leading firm, as well as working for a local independent practice.

In my spare time I love to travel, and I am passionate about exploring the local wildlife wherever I visit. I am a keen walker and photographer and enjoy an adventure, having climbed Mount Kilimanjaro for charity in 2017.
