A brief introduction
I am a senior manager in audit and accounts at MHA Monahans. I specialise in the provision of audit services to corporate and other not for profit clients.
I focus on providing excellent client service.
I graduated in Agriculture in 1988 and went on to train as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand. I qualified in 1993.
I worked as a Forensic Accountant for 7 years. This included report writing, working with the Serious Fraud Office on an international fraud, and appearing in Court as an expert prosecution witness.
I moved back to audit in 2000 as an audit manager responsible for a mixed portfolio of corporate and not for profit clients. Between 2002 and 2012, I was responsible for the delivery of 600 Town and Parish councils’ limited assurance reviews for the Audit Commission. In 2012 I joined Grant Thornton to manage their national team delivering limited assurance reviews for 3,600 Town and Parish Councils.
I joined MHA Monahans in 2017 to develop my corporate audit experience and to have a closer working relationship with clients. I am also responsible for supervising our trainees, an aspect of my role that I particularly enjoy.
I spend my spare time with my daughter caring for and riding our horse.
