A brief introduction
I provide audit and other business services to a large range of not for profit entities. This includes Charities and Academy Schools as well as other similar Trusts and Associations.
I have been specialising with not for profit clients since 1999 and completed my training with Ernst and Young in 2002 where I was involved with the audit of a number of large charities. I have recently joined MHA Monahans, transferring from another MHA firm; MacIntyre Hudson. While at MacIntyre Hudson I co-led a specialist not for profit team in London and Chelmsford where I worked with around 90 not for profit organisations. I hold the Diploma in Charity Accounting and I have lectured at CASS Business School on their MSc in Charity Finance. In my spare time I am the Treasurer to a number of small charities, which gives me useful insight into what it means to govern a not for profit organisation.
