A brief introduction
My role is HR Partner – and within that, there are a number of areas for which I am accountable
Firstly, I’m responsible for our colleagues but also our culture — in other words, our values, ethics, vision and how we create a working environment in which employees can thrive and which enables our business growth ambitions.
I also lead our external consultancy practices for Health & Safety and HR, offering solutions to a range of clients.
I'm also a member of the Executive Team, which presents a broader leadership responsibility for shaping and leading the strategic direction of the firm.
My career has been built within HR, working in both a generalist and specialist capacity. I’ve held a variety of HR leadership roles, working with Board and Operational Executive teams in a variety of industry sectors in organisations of varying sizes. I’m also a qualified Executive Coach and Business Mentor, having graduated with a MSc in Coaching & Behavioural Change from Henley Business School.
I am fascinated in behaviour, at an individual and group level: understanding what drives people - and helping individuals to better understand this for themselves, enabling them to unlock their potential and make lasting and meaningful change.
The creation of the role of HR Partner is a hugely positive step for the firm, acknowledging the importance of its people in the business and their role in achieving its strategic goals. I feel very privileged to be working in such a friendly, talented and passionate team and very excited by the opportunities ahead.
Outside work, life is spent with my two teenage boys and my puppy – my passions are travelling, being by the sea, reading, walking and food – eating and cooking!
