Stephanie Hurst

A brief introduction

I am a corporate tax manager at MHA Monahans. As part of my role I focus on providing specialist advice to our clients to ensure that they are able to minimise their tax exposure and take advantage of valuable reliefs.

I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and have accumulated a wealth of experience in both private client and corporate taxes over the last 13 years in practice. Having extensive knowledge in more than one area of taxation enables me to provide a broader outlook on the impacts of any tax planning, ensuring that our clients have a full picture of the pros and cons of any suggested changes.

I began my career at RSM and joined MHA Monahans in 2014, having spent a number of years at an independent local practice. There are so many areas of taxation to consider when advising clients although I am particularly interested in industry specific tax reliefs such as Research & Development and Museums & Galleries tax relief. These incentives can be hugely beneficial to our clients, particularly in the early stages of their business.

In my spare time I like to travel and always ensure that my itinerary includes the local wildlife. I am a keen walker and climbed Mt.Kilimanjaro in October 2017 for charity.
