Caroline Thorne

As part of my role I help a wide range of clients on business and tax matters.

I support businesses in property development, property investment, engineering, hotels, care homes, and other sectors. I also manage financial matters for high net worth individuals.

I am experienced in due diligence on acquisitions; and in advising clients on the sale of their businesses, guiding them through that process.

As an experienced Chartered Certified Accountant, I find it very rewarding to help take away the hassle for our clients. This includes providing advice on book-keeping, VAT, management accounts, forecasting, annual accounts, audit, and tax both corporate and personal, as well as ad-hoc project advice for business acquisitions and business disposals.

My background

I spent many years in practice in the London area, before returning home to Somerset in 2001 when I joined a leading local firm, which merged with Monahans in 2017.

I grew up near Wiveliscombe, and hail from a third generation farming family. In my spare time my passions include horse riding.
