Monahans go for growth with the appointment of a new Commercial Partner

Monahans, one of the largest chartered accountancy and business advisers in the South West, has appointed Stephanie Buckley as Commercial Partner, effective 1 May 2025.
This strategic addition to the team comes as the firm builds on a period of sustained expansion, doubling in size in recent years through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions, as it continues to invest in long-term commercial success.
Working closely with teams across the 11-office firm, Stephanie will work to identify new business opportunities, strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, and expand the client base throughout the South West and beyond.
Steph is a well-respected figure in the professional services sector, having co-founded The Insolvency Company in 2018 with Gareth Buckley, which she continues to play an important role within as part of the wider Monahan’s group.
Steph expressed her excitement about exploring the opportunities of her new position. She said: “I am excited to take on this new opportunity. Monahans has such a strong reputation across the region, and there’s huge potential to build on that. I am looking forward to supporting the teams within Monahans and identifying impactful ways we can grow and add real value to our clients.”
Her appointment comes at an important time in Monahans' history as it continues to acquire new practices and expand its team across the South West.
Simon Tombs, Managing Partner at Monahans, said: “This new role reflects our exciting growth plans. Stephanie is the perfect fit for this role given her considerable experience and qualifications.
“Steph brings a powerful combination of hands-on business experience and formal training to this position, and her record of success speaks for itself. Her ambition and client-first mindset are exactly what we need to carry us into the future.”
Stephanie will be engaging with teams and clients over the next few months as she maps Monahans’ current commercial operations and explores new opportunities for strategic growth.
