Glen Smith

I am a Business Services Manager splitting my time between the Swindon and Trowbridge offices. My role is to oversee and support the Bookkeeping/VAT team meeting all deadlines. I also manage a portfolio of clients for outsourced financial services and pride myself on ensuring their management accounts add value to their business.

My background

I joined Monahans in June 2021 and after finishing my final ACCA exam stepped into managing the Bookkeeping/VAT team. My prior experience includes five years of working in accountancy practices where I covered a wide range of services.

Since a very young age, I had my sights on being an accountant and obtaining my ACCA, while most children dream of being an astronaut or popstar, I wanted to be an accountant. This is a drive that has not waivered and In 2021 I achieved that dream passing my final exam of ACCA and becoming a certified chartered accountant. I am passionate about adding value to my clients, with a focus on ensuring management accounts and advice can support business growth, assist in overcoming challenges and help to achieve their goals.

Outside of work, I can usually be found spending time with family, tinkering with computers or online gaming.
