Stephen Clarke

I am a Senior Auditor, based in our Taunton office. My role is to lead audit teams in the detailed audit testing of Monahans’s corporate, academy, charity and pension audit clients. I am also involved in providing internal audit reports.

My background

I joined Monahans in January 2022. I have many years of audit experience in various fields.

I trained and qualified with a small firm in Nottingham and have since worked for two top ten international firms as well as the national provider of public sector audits.

I see auditing as a way to help managers and those charged with governance of SME businesses, to find out of there are any areas of their business where they can make improvements, and to know that their records are providing an accurate reflection of their business performance.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, playing golf, watching Manchester United and going to rock concerts.
