Autumn Statement Budget 2023: Summary and Key Announcements
On 22nd November Chancellor Jeremy Hunt delivered his Autumn Statement for Growth which covered three major themes; boosting business investment, getting more people into work and cutting taxes.
There was an emphasis on building a stronger and more resilient economy with a number of measures intended to back British business by encouraging business investment to boost productivity. Many UK employees and sole traders will also see a benefit through a cut in their National Insurance charges from the New Year.
